This wine is perfect for this transitional fall weather, crisp, bright, lemony, delicious!
Prie Blanc is a native Italian varietal, grown in the town of Morgex in the high Alps, part of the greater Val d’Aosta region. The wine is aged and fermented in stainless steel to preserve it’s minerality and fresh acidity. Notes of lemon balm and bright citrus and acid on the palate but not in an overwhelming way; I was immediately drawn to my time in Morocco eating chicken tagine with olives and preserved lemons, this would make a tasty pairing!
