Sticking with the working backwards theme, I spent my actual birthday at home in the Napa Valley. It was so weird to be at home on my birthday for the first time since my 18th (I remember it like it was yesterday, dinner at Mustard’s, Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake). It was nice to be with friends and family and to indulge in some of my favorite tastes of home. Highlights included the first farmer’s market of the season, the annual sidewalk sale on main street, lazy days at Meadowood, and meals at some old faves and new spots in town!
