I recently visited the Ten Bells Wine Bar on the lower east side.  This place has been on my list for quite some time and I’m kicking myself for not getting down there sooner!

It’s cozy without being cramped, on a Friday night at 7pm we were quickly seated at 2 bar stools.  They have a great selection of natural and biodynamic wines as well as sharable tapas to mix and match.  We had just missed the oyster happy hour but they serve $1 oysters every day until 7pm.  There is also a great private room in the back if you’re looking for a spot to host a group dinner or event.  If you’re looking for a glass of wine before dinner or for a fun place to meet after work, I’d highly suggest Ten Bells!
