I apologize for the late Wine-Wednesday posting….but we had an exciting real-live Wine Wednesday event!  I paired up with the lovely ladies of Crop Tops and Kale to host a spring tasting.  It was a beautiful night in NYC; we enjoyed every minute of the backyard garden at Abbottega in the West Village.

In honor of the warmer temps, I poured 2 whites and 2 roses.The line-up:

It was a wonderful night of delicious wine, tasty bites, and new friends!

If you find yourself in the West Village looking for a lovely spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat, Abbottega is just perfect.  With a cozy, candlelit interior and now a brand new backyard patio, they have you covered no matter the season.  On Wednesdays they are offering l’aperitivo Italiano, including a buffet of small nibbles to pair with your beverage of choice.  I was happy to discover they carry my favorite Roman white wine, Frascati!
