I’m working on a recap from my wonderful week at home but here’s a sneak peak at what we started off our Thanksgiving cocktail hour with.
My mom’s basement is like Mary Poppins’ bag….you never know what she’s going to pull out of there! For Thanksgiving she found a magnum of the 2010 Kongsgaard “The Judge” Chardonnay. It was luscious and smooth. Classic Chardonnay in every sense; medium yellow color, a nose of stone fruit, peaches and citrus and a touch of vanilla; the palette was balanced acidity with a hint of minerality. A long finish made for the perfect first sips of the evening. And it paired just perfectly with the buffalo chicken dip my cousin proudly made 🙂
