Up this week, Ramey 2010 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay.  Another remnant of my time at home; this wine was enjoyed at Zin restaurant in Healdsburg.  Mom surprised me with a girls trip, more on that for another post.  She had spent her recent birthday with her girlfriends in Healdsburg, they had dinner at Zin, and I sent them a bottle of Ramey with love from NYC.  I guess the wine, the food, and the experience were so great she had to recreate it with me, and I was happy to go along!

The wine was delicious.  Light and well balanced, not too much oak.  It paired perfectly with our shared plates of fish and duck.  

Ramey does tastings 2x per day but unfortunately was booked during our weekend, definitely something to go back for!
