My dear friend Blair gave us the reason to convene in Cabo for her special b-day.  Blair was one of my first good friends in NY, and sad for me, recently moved back to the Bay Area.  

We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Rose in Cabo San Lucas.  United miles and a bit of luck landed me a first class seat from NYC to Cabo.  So what felt like a hop, skip, and a jump later, I was on a lounge chair poolside with a margarita and chips and guac, aka my idea of heaven.  We spent 4 days doing exactly that and more of the same.  I would occasionally mix it up and get nachos instead of guac, that was about the extent of my decision making for the week.  We did head out for a few excursions including glass bottom boat rides to view the famous arch, sunrise stand-up paddle boarding, and sunset cocktails at the sister resort .
