My cousin Augusta and I are +/- one month apart in age so for the past two years we’ve celebrated our births on earth with a joint celebration.  While last year was one hell of a party, we weren’t feeling the bar birthday party this year and decided to invite our nearest and dearest for a day of wine tasting on the North Fork of Long Island.  We visited Bedell Cellars and Lenz, with a stop for a picnic lunch at the lunch truck of North Fork Table and Inn.  It was a beautiful day and so much fun, just the way to round out the many birthday celebrations.

I just happen to look back knowing that I started this little blog sometime in June of last year….turns out it was exactly one year ago today, so happy birthday to this little blog…..so much more to celebrate and more to come!
