Last Saturday was the first New York Tweed Run, sponsored by Rugby Ralph
Lauren.  The “metropolitan cycling event” began in London a few years
ago; riders don traditional English cycling tweeds, and break out their
bikes for a ride around the city.  It could not have been a more perfect
day, the sun was shining and everyone really came out in their finest
Tweed!  There was tea by Jeeves and Jericho, scones by Woolmark, and the
Van Leeuwen ice cream truck was parked out front handing out scoops to
all participants!  It was such a fun event, I think everyone involved
(as well as the curious passersby) all had a great time!
